25. Read the article, Sally played Hotlips in the MASH pilot movie, Loretta played Hotlips in the TV series MASH. Do you also know that Hawkeye was played by Elliot Gould in the pilot not Alan Alda? You guys need to brush up on your trivia!!

29. It is hard to believe people spouting off with statements like "That ain't Sally Kellerman", and "Oh, Hot Lips in M*A*S*H was Loretta Swit." and crap like that.

How many times have one actor or actress played a role in a movie, and then a different actor or actress played the same role in a TV series that was a spin-off, or vice-versa??

Let me just tell you - lots of times. For example, Christopher Reeve was Superman in the movies, but Dean Cain played Superman in the Lois & Clark TV series.

Only a few actors from the M*A*S*H movie continued on into the TV series that spun off from it. Let me just tell you by some characters:
NOT Hawkeye, NOT Trapper John, NOT Colonel Blake, NOT Hot Lips, and NOT Frank Burns.

Before you go shooting your mouths off about who was and who wasn't whom, why don't you look up both the movie and the TV program in www.Imdb.com and find out who were the real actors who played the characters.

It's called "Look before you leap", and also before proving yourself to be an ignoramus.
